Belgrade bounces back
Article Abstract:
Belgrade International Airport general manager Ljubomir Acimovic reports that passenger number at the state-owned airport increased to between 600,000 to 700,00 in 2000. The rise in passenger traffic was attributed to the lifting of the European flight ban to Yugoslavia at the start of 2000. The airport expects further increases in international arrivals if the US lifts its flight ban.
