The commemoration ceremony one year after the death of Yitzhak Rabin has highlighted the divisions in Israel between the leftists, who support the peace process, and the right, which opposes it. The fact that some religious leaders on the right do not condemn Rabin's assassination further angers the left.

The banging door: West Bank and Gaza

Article Abstract:

Israel is blocking itself off from Gaza and the West Bank, which is impeding Palestinians there from working in Israel. The Israeli government under Binyamin Netanyahu is imposing stricter measures because of terrorism. But the Palestinians affected have nothing to do with the terrorism.
