Architect Picardi renewed the third-floor attic flat in LondonEs Holland Park consisting of a spiral staircase and a glass-floored mezzanine gallery. He used components such as glass, steel and light to create a structure that would transmit light from a new overhead rooflight, creating a feeling of spaciousness in the interior developing a project that suited well to the client's need.

The architect Lisa Shell designs a mews house in London, W 11, in a new fashion. The architect has achieved a newly functional living and working environment for the owners and has provided a framing of ground-floor openings echoes in such manner that was originally used by the mews making it a unique plot.

The famous Anderton House, designed by Aldington & Craig near Barnstaple has once again come into the limelight. The house is converted to a piece of architectural heritage by Landmark Trust which is opening it to the public as a holiday let.
