B.C.'s not so bad slump
Article Abstract:
British Columbia's economic recession has hurt the real estate, resource and import industry but not the advertising industry. So far, marketers are not showing any signs of slashing their marketing spending. Also, the lean and project-oriented nature of advertising agencies in British Columbia is not susceptible to the negative impact of a recession such as massive layoffs. Still other marketers are looking forward to increasing their advertising budgets by 1999.
