BP, Exxon hit with antitrust suit

BP PLC of the United Kingdom and Exxon Mobil Corp. of the United States have been charged with collusion by Alaska state authorities in preventing natural gas supplies from being sold in the United States. The anti-trust lawsuit also states the two petroleum companies have as a result driven up prices. There is also controversy over the construction of a gas pipeline through Canada by BP PLC and Exxon Mobil Corp.
