Article Abstract:
US stockmarkets reopened on Sep 17, 2001, after shutting for four trading days following the terrorist attacks on the US, only to see a sharp fall in share prices. However, the fact that stockmarkets did open again so soon gave a psychological boost to many, and investor confidence is not dashed.
