Ballistically matched ammunition aimed at special forces' use
Article Abstract:
The Swiss Ammunition Enteprise Corp has introduced the Swiss-P family of 7.62x51 mm and 0.300 Winchester Magnum ballistically matched ammunition for special forces. The Swiss-P family consists of four different types of ammunitions which can be interchanged with the need to adjust rifle sights. H&K's latest SMG embraces .45 caliber
Article Abstract:
Heckler und Koch GmbH has started adapting the caliber .45 ACP cartridge for its MP5 sub-machine gun. The company's Universal Machine Pistol, also known as UMP45, bores a similarity to the G36. While the weapon represents a change for Heckler und Koch, which has traditionally manufactured the weapon using the 9X19mm ammunition, it has retained the robustness and reliability that the MP5 has been noted for. The UMP5 also cost below $900 each and weighs only a little above 2kg.
