Banking a management buy out

Financial planning for a management buyout or management buyin usually involves management and their advisers negotiating with the seller, the equity investor and the bank. A single bank may provide debt funding, or another institution may provide mezzanine finance, asset backed finance, club deals or invoice discounting and factoring. It will be necessary to produce a business plan, and an accountant's report and legal due diligence will also be required.
