Where there's a will
Article Abstract:
Foreigners who have lived long and intend to die in Switzerland but have not acquired Swiss citizenship have the option to draw their wills according to their home country's laws subject to the approval of Swiss authorities. Most countries' laws give the individual the freedom to allocate as much of his inheritance to selected beneficiaries. On the other hand, Swiss law orders the equitable allocation of property among the deceased's heirs including his parents and even his other relatives.

Curtain up for the Euro
Article Abstract:
The creation of the Euro is an important development for Switzerland because the European Union accounts for more than half of Swiss exports and nearly three-quarters of its imports. The Euro is expected to become a second currency in hotels and stores. The value of the Swiss franc is also expected to be determined by the relative strength or weakness of the Euro. The Swiss franc/Euro exchange rate is expected to be Sfr 1.60 in the next few months.
