Beijing grapples with selling its shares

Chinese regulators are planning to sell $300 billion in state-owned shares that create 2/3 of the market capitalization of China. Traditionally these shares have been non-tradeable put are now to go on the block. Speculation has created a market rally with the stock market climbing by ten percent since February 2nd, 2005.
