Betaferon sales likely to boost Schering's growth
Article Abstract:
Analysts said that Schering AG should see a growth in sales of its core Betaferon product in 1999. This should help the company's financial performance for the year. Betaferon is a drug treatment for multiple sclerosis. Schering's sales in 1998 struggled because of disadvantageous currency rates. The company said that its yearly group sales increased 2.9% to 6.4 billion marks ($3.68 billion).
