Better flow for Europe
Article Abstract:
Eurocontrol has introduced an enhanced tactical flow management system (ETFMS) for supporting the activities of the central flow management unit (CFMU). The new ETFMS has the capability to collect real-time position data and aeronautical message data from all over Europe for use by the CFMU. This feature helps improve the accuracy of air traffic forecasts and assist sector load analysis and pan-European air situation displays.
