The United States District Court in San Francisco has ruled that EMI Group PLC of the United Kingdom and Vivendi Universal S.A. of France misled federal investigators concerning online-music pricing. The music labels obscured their practices about seeking and gaining information on the rival companies pricing agreements with online-music services.
