President Bill Clinton is likely to impress European leaders at the Summit of Eight Industrialized Nations but there is more than meets the eye regarding the credit that Clinton should receive and the prospects of economic development that the US currently enjoys. However, despite the booming economic activity, a low savings rate, coupled with a tightening labor supply will likely put pressure on the country's economic growth.
