Billions of Czech crowns for the liquidation of mines
Article Abstract:
Czech Republic: The damping of the Czech coal and ore extraction sector will cost a total of 19.31 bil Kc in 2000-2005. This results from a damping conception proceesed by the Ministry of the Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic. The costs include finances for the technical liquidation of mines, the recovery of the consequences of mining activities and social-health costs of 9 bil Kc. About 18.62 bil Kc were invested in the damping in 1993-1998. Mining firms ensured about 24% of the sum, 4.707 bil Kc.
