Biotech goes glitzy

Biotechnology financing strategy resembles that of independent movie producers. Usually about 50% of the funds needed to bring a drug to market come from selling marketing rights to big drug companies, in deals that eventually return all rights to the biotech firm.

There have been many reports that Serbian soldiers routinely rape Muslim women in conquered territories. Reportedly officers encourage their men to attack the women. Over 20,000 women may have been victimized.
