The philandering behavior of Nordic male bird species is the subject of ornithological debates on monogamy. Since birds of either sex can feed and protect their young, researchers speculate that female birds willingly submit to male philandering and are not fooled by their mates' 'mistresses.'

Citizens of Cardiff, Wales, are very excited about a proposed barrage to be constructed across Cardiff Bay. The project would certainly beautify and bring more business to the area, but there are questions about the cost and the environmental consequences.
