Iran has recently been getting involved in international disputes. It has been sending weapons to Muslims in Bosnia-Herzegovina in defiance of the UN embargo. It is also involved in a dispute with the United Arab Emirates over a strait in the Persian Gulf known as Abu Musa.

The arms race in the Persian Gulf region continues apace, with Iran the post-Gulf War beneficiary of much of the region's arms deals. The world's arms dealers should be prohibited from rearming the any of the Gulf oil states, including Iraq and Saudi Arabia.

Terrible twins
Article Abstract:
The world must not forget the danger of Iran because of preoccupation with the policies of Iraq. Since the collapse of the Soviet Union and the end of the Gulf War, Iran has had great influence in the new Muslim republics. Iran must be closely monitored.
