Boeing wins order for 20 787s from International Lease Finance

Boeing Co. of the United States has received an order for 20 Boeing 787's for $2.4 billion from International Lease Finance Corp. also of the United States. The order is for the newest "Dreamliner" jetliner model and is the first major order of that type for Boeing Co.

Airbus faces wide gap in A350 orders

While Boeing Co. has tallied 600 orders for its 787 Dreamliner, Airbus S.A.S. has only 13 orders for its A350 jetliner, even though Airbus made major changes to the craft a year ago to improve comfort, ease of maintenance, and fuel efficiency.
