Bosnia's dismal endgame

The Serbs' relentless attack on Sarajevo is giving every indication that the Muslims will not be able to counterattack without western support. It is only a matter of time before negotiations are underway to divide up Bosnia to give the Serbs control of land sought in the first place.

Bosnian Muslims now must cope with additional threats from Croats who want to drive into an area near Sarajevo, Tuzla and Zenica. Some Muslims have resisted this pressure; others wish to comply to end the killing and seemingly endless slaughter by Serb and Croatian forces .

Not quite Belsen: prison camps
Article Abstract:
The concentration camps run by the Serbs in Bosnia-Herzegovina are not comparable to German death camps during World War II. There have been some atrocities, but the point of them is not to exterminate Muslims and Croats, but rather to drive them out of the country.
