Building generalizable SME international marketing models using case studies
Article Abstract:
Description on the creation of holistic models of small and medium enterprise (SME) marketing using case studies was discussed. A semi-structured survey protocol was used to study twelve firms. Definition of the two models proposed includes niche market power and control over client and agent selection. SME exporting is taking the road towards internationalization and may even leapfrog due to a changing trend in the style of exporting.
