Burmah Castrol PLC will assume a 35 million pound sterling (53 million euros) charge for one-off costs resulting from the company's restructuring plan. The plan will bring about the downsizing of up to 450 jobs around the world. However, Burmah Castrol is still planning to seek acquisitions. The job downsizings are expected to take place in the Asian and European regions.

Schroders expected to report slump in pretax profit
