Bush's policies will produce slow, stable economic growth just as they have through the 1980s. Limits on federal spending, tax cuts for investors, limits on the cost of environmental regulation, vouchers for education and health care for the poor, and international free trade are discussed.

Article Abstract:
Pres Clinton has come up with a credible plan for deficit reduction, even if he has to break his promise for a middle-class tax cut. Although the plan relies too heavily on raising revenues as opposed to limiting spending, it could meet its deficit reduction goals.
