ITC Ltd is revamping the managerial cadre to achieve its chief management goals. B Mitter, director of finance, is scheduled to retire in the middle of 2001 AD. KS Vaidyanathan, now head of auditing, is likely to become the overall head of the finance department. The audit section may then be headed by Partho Chatterjee, now head of finance of ITC (Tobacco). M Satyanarayana, now looking after taxation, is likely to be given the additional responsibility of finance. Corporate finance will be looked after by Shekhar Basu. (uh) (kvr)
