CTC ads selling dreams of Canada
Article Abstract:
The Canadian Tourism Commission has launched a $4-million-plus campaign for 2001 centering on an origami-style map of Canada that opens up to show the country's tourism attractions. The map, which was designed by Montreal-based BCP Group Inc, is part of a new worldwide branding for the commission, which became the country's newest Crown corporation in January. Combining animation and live action, the map is the focus of two 30-sec television spots for winter and summer travel targeted at Canadians.
