Article Abstract:
A report is presented on loyalty programs and how Canadians favor cash rebates to travel rewards. According to a recent study by Ipsos-Reid in Toronto, 61% of Canadians prefer cash rebates as compared to 45% who favor travel rewards, 34% who find merchandise or investments appealing, and 22% who prefer automotive purchases. The study also showed that loyalty programs did not always cater to consumer preferences.
