Ceske aerolinie (CSA) (Prague, Czech Republic), Czech Airlines, saw proceeds of CEK 17 bil in 2000, which was a record in its history. The company transported nearly 2.5 mil passengers and 16,600 t of cargo in 2000. It utilized 70.4% of its aeroplane capacity in 2000, up 6% from 1999. It reached the global standard due to the increase.

Ceske Aerolinie becomes a part of the international alliance SkyTeam
Article Abstract:
Ceske aerolinie (CSA) (Prague, Czech Republic), Czech Airlines, will definitively become a part of the international airline alliance SkyTeam in Mar 2001. The number of CSA's destinations will increase from the hitherto 61 to 472 including the flights of the other four partners after the entrance. The partners are Air France (France), Delta Airlines (US), Aero Mexico (Mexico) and Korean Air (South Korea).

PSJ Holding will build a centre for Ceske Aerolinie

PSJ Holding (PSJH) (Jihlava, Czech Republic), construction firm, will start to build a new administrative and operating centre for Ceske aerolinie (CSA) (Prague, Czech Republic), Czech Airlines, in 2001. The centre will be built at a cost of nearly CEK 400 mil at the airport in Prague-Ruzyne. CSA is the largest airline in the Czech Republic.
