China is considering a currency basket as option for Yuan

China is under pressure to change it's currency exchange rate system to better balance global currency rates and The People's Bank of China is studying the matter. The central bank is particularly studying Singapore's unusual currency basket approach as an alternative for the Yuan.

Currency reserves held by Beijing continue to swell
Article Abstract:
China's central bank is experiencing growth in currency exchange reserves which are up to $818.9 billion and expected to increase to $1 trillion. The swelling reserves may put pressure on China by the United States to increase it's currency rate.
