China may offer foreign control of a state bank

Guangdong Development Bank of China is inviting foreign investment, offering to sell a controlling interest in the state owned bank. The bank has total assets of 344.5 billion Yuan or about $42.5 billion. The offer indicates Beijing is supporting greater foreign investment in financial institutions.
