China must unveil a true view of its religious picture
Article Abstract:
China should not interfere with the planned visit of the first US religious delegation to probe prevalent religious persecution in China in order to show the country's sincerity and unbiasedness. The delegation should not allow the Chinese government to use the mission as a propaganda tool that would paint a picture of religious freedom in the country. Chinese leaders know that a flawed human-rights record is a major stumbling block to smooth trade and political relations.
