Chinese cars head to Europe

The European Union car market faces stiff competition from Japanese and South Korean imports and is now facing car imports from China. The Zhongua sedan from Brilliance China Automotive Holdings Ltd. is being displayed at the Leipzig Auto Show in Leipzig, Germany. Car exporters from China are planning to market in the United States as well.

EU proposes duties on Chinese, Vietnamese shoes
Article Abstract:
The European Commission is considering tariffs on most leather shoe imports from Asia as it tries to protect its home market shoe industry. Chinese shoe imports consist of 35 percent of the European market, steadily growing since 2001.
