Article Abstract:
Aircraft companies are beginning form alliances to enable them to compete for civilian contracts and the McDonnell Douglas merger with Boeing is being criticized by Airbus Industrie execs as racked with conspiracy. Airbus, on the other hand, may be forced to rethink its stand on its alliance with three other European companies and may be forced to decide sooner than expected on the formation of a company to compete with Boeing.
