Competitiveness and evolution of family businesses: the role of family and business orientation
Article Abstract:
The advantages and disadvantages of different types of family businesses operating in Europe are examined. Trust, control and employee motivation are the advantages of the family business whereas problem of conflict resolution and the issue of continuity are disadvantageous to the family business.
