Executive of China's Sinopec unit is issued death sentence

Dian Guoyan, an executive of Sinopec Hubei Xighua Co., was issued a death sentence for pocketing company money and other corrupt activities. Such corruption is not unusual in Chinese companies which are struggling to redesign the relationship between business and government.
