Architecture: a professional or commercial enterprise?
Article Abstract:

Buildings are now being regarded as products made by many specialists and the development process must be managed as a whole to achieve the best results.

Article Abstract:
Conan Roche Architects have designed and built two office blocks in Milton Keynes, England. The buildings are notable for the attention to detail and high quality of design even though they were built speculatively. The 80,000 sq ft development is simple and designed to complement the central church. The architects distance themselves from earlier developments in the area.
