DABUR, YASH BIRLA TO PICK UP STAKE IN ABN-AMRO SEC
Article Abstract:
The Dabur group and the Yash Birla group are to acquire stakes of 6.25 percent each in Amro Securities India Pvt Ltd (ASI). ASI is a subsidiary of ABN-Amro Bank. ABN-Amro Holdings NV of Netherlands holds 75 percent stake in ASI, which has a capital of $20 million. The rest of the stake is held by Mr JR Desai, former chairman of Kelvinator of India Ltd. (gs)
