DAEWOO SETS 25% TARGET FOR MATIZ
Article Abstract:
Daewoo Motors has claimed that it will capture a 25 percent share of the small car market through the Matiz. The company says that the Matiz will take away a share of the market from both the Maruti 800 and the Zen. The basic model of the Matiz may probably be fitted with an air-conditioner as most people prefer it. The company expects to break-even in 1999-2000, with sales of 50,000 cars including the Matiz and the Ceilo. (khr)
