Article Abstract:
FDB Gruppen, the Danish Co-operative Retail and Wholesale Society, boosted its turnover 4.1% to DKr30bn in 2000. This means that it will retain its position as the market leader in the Danish grocery retail trade. Half of the growth, however, was generated by petrol sales through its co-operation with OK Benzin. FDB's rival Dansk Supermarked boosted sales by 8%.
