DENMARK: NEW PROPERTY COMPANY TARGETS THE BALTIC STATES

Baltic Property Trust A/S is a newly-established property company that aims to invest in properties in the Baltic states that are expected to generate a 12-14% profit. This is almost twice as much as profit achieved from corresponding property categories in Denmark. Baltic Property Trust's biggest shareholder is Lietuvos Draudimas, which is a subsidiary of Codan, the Danish insurance company. Baltic Property Trust, that has a share capital of DKr200mn, is to act as a holding company with subsidiaries in the three Baltic states.

DENMARK: JONES LANG LASALLE SIGNS DEAL WITH SEHESTED

Jones Lang LaSalle, the world leader in corporate real estate and investment management services, has signed a co-operation deal with Sehested Consulting with the view of starting operations in Copenhagen. The parties are to help each other as regards purchase, sale and financial advise. Jones Lang LaSalle has also signed a deal with Datea about the administration of 100,000 square metres in Copenhagen.

DENMARK: HOUSING PRICES FORECAST TO RISE
Article Abstract:
Housing prices in the Greater Copenhagen area in Denmark are expected to rise further as a result of an anticipated population growth of 5% in Copenhagen, Arhus and on Jutland. The situation outside the population centres could develop in a negative direction with a drop in population growth. This emerges from the latest statistics by the Danish Statistical Office.
