DENMARK: SEAS IN JOINT VENTURE

SEAS, which is the second largest electricity company in Denmark, will establish a joint venture with eight municipal electricity companies on southern Zealand and the islands of Lolland and Falster in January. The new company will supply more than 215,000 consumers with electricity. The alliance will prevent competitors from entering this region, as they no longer are able to make acquisitions, the paper states.

DENMARK: NKT/STOLT COMEX SEAWAY IN JOINT VENTURE

A joint venture, based in Denmark, is to be established by NKT Holding and Stolt Comex Seaway. The activities will be based on NKT's underwater pipeline production, which until now has been part of NKT's cable division. The joint venture will mainly target the offshore sector.
