The Danish steel group Jern Holding is planning for expansion abroad, at the same time as the group will continue expanding in Denmark. The aim is to reach a nearly a DKr 1bn (USD 0.15bn) turnover within two-three years, from the present DKr 600mn. Recently, the Danish company JVP Stal, which has a DKr 35mn turnover, was acquired. At present, exports account for 10-15% of the group's turnover. At a first stage, the future plan includes increased co-operation with sub-contractors in Poland.
