SAP TO INVEST $3 M IN BANGALORE SOFTWARE CENTRE
Article Abstract:
SAP AG, a provider of integrated enterprise business applications, has decided to invest $3 million to set up SAP Labs India, a software development centre at Bangalore. The centre will concentrate on development of four major industry solutions and the new SAP sale business scenarios. It will also develop region specific versions of SAP R3 for India and Thailand. The centre is to be located in the city's International Technology Park. (khr)

As part of its operational restructuring programme, International Comptech Engineering Services (ICES) has changed its name to ICES Software Limited. ICES is a joint venture between VMC Project Technology and Softech Management Systems (SMS) of Canada.
