Recently, DaimlerChrysler has seen its share value fall. The company has started to provide greater information to analysts. Such information includes monthly production predictions. DaimlerChrysler earnings disappoint

DaimlerChrysler AG posted a decline of 0.3% in net income for the second-quarter of 1999. The company posted disappointing earnings for the perod. DaimlerChrysler's net income reached $1.53 billion (1.43 billion euros) for the period. The net income figure was adjusted for a one-time charge from the initial public offering of DaimlerChrysler's telecommunications division. The car maker's quarterly revenue increased 10% to $38.48 billion.
