Data envelopment analysis with a single DMU: a graphic projected-gradient approach
Article Abstract:
A graphic projected-gradient technique for conducting Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) with only a single Decision Making Unit (DMU) is presented. DEA is redefined as a graphic-analytical approach in a two-dimensional section of the production possibility set, in agreement with proportional change of inputs and outputs. The differential equation for DEA gradient lines in a two-dimensional section of the DEA production set is obtained, solved and examined. The results show that DEA-gradient line is independent both of other DMUs and of the type of optimization.

A method for discriminating efficient candidates with ranked voting data
Article Abstract:
A brief ranking of voting data and its analysis with data envelopment analysis (DEA) is presented. The existing method for discriminating efficient candidates was observed to have a small weakness, which is rectified by the new model, which is based on a very simple idea and is easy to implement visually.
