The US House of Representatives' Judiciary Committee's partisan request to have the death of journalist Daniel Casolaro investigated has been rejected by Attorney General William Barr. Barr supported the findings of the Martinsburg, WV, police, which claimed Casolaro's death was a suicide. Casolaro had been investigating government corruption stemming from the INSLAW lawsuit against the Department of Justice, and family and friends believe Casolaro may have been murdered.
