Denmark: Corporate confidence in investments low
Article Abstract:
A survey conducted by Greens Analyseinstitut for Borsen, the Danish business daily, indicates a low business confidence in investments. The survey, conducted a couple of days following the September 11 terror attacks in the USA, shows that the biggest companies in Denmark are negative towards making investments now. However, the negative growth prospects had diminished companies' investment will already before the terror attacks. The latest statistics by the Danish Statistical Office show that not all types of investments have lost in popularity. IT investments, for example, continue to be popular among companies.
