Denmark: Pig breeder to start operations abroad
Article Abstract:
Dansk Primaer Landbrug Invest A/S (DPL Invest A/S), the leading pig breeder in Denmark, is to internationalise its concept by starting operations abroad. The move stems from the fact that pig breeding does not enjoy a very high reputation in Denmark. Another reason is to growing expenses for the business. At the same time, DPL Invest A/S will totally freeze all new investments in Denmark and carry out a share issue. DPL Invest, that has 21 production units in Denmark, mentions Poland, the Baltic states or the Czech Republic as the new areas for its expansion plans.
