Design and implementation of an optimization-based decisiion support system generator

Article Abstract:

The design of an optimization-based decision support system (OBDSS) which automates the development process by integrating a model specification with a database, a solver, and a graphical user interface (GUI) is presented. The experience of using the model during a three-year research and development project is discussed.
