Designing a performance measurement system: a case study
Article Abstract:
Issues relating to performance measurement (PM) are explored, though the lessons learnt cannot have universal validity but may be helpful in similar kinds of initiatives. It is suggested that developing performance measurement systems (PMSs) should to a large extent be understood as a co-ordination effort rather than a design effort.

Decision-making for stock trading based on trading probability by considering whole market movement

The article proposes a method to improve decision-making by considering the secondary information of the correlation between individual events and the whole sequence of related events. The proposed decision-making method could be applied to various problems areas.

Controlling sales force turnover costs through optimal recruiting and training policies

The recruiting and training policies under which a sales force, which experiences a given turnover rate, maximizes its turnover costs are determined. Data requirements and implementation issues are discussed.
