Developing Thailand's south
Article Abstract:
Occurrence of the separatist movements in Thailand's southern provinces, due to a series of expensive development projects and heavy-handed tactics, have led to more serious conflicts and have further magnified tension. The government should instead concentrate on, understanding all aspects of the ways the people in the southern areas use to live and learn, along with the local religious schools and also on human resource development in these areas.
